Getting here
From airport to hidden doorway.
Fly to Agadir
Agadir is the nearest airport, roughly an hour from Dar Louisa. It has direct connections from the UK and several European cities.
Or arrive via Marrakech
Marrakech offers a wider choice of routes and airlines. The onward journey to Taroudant takes around three hours by car.
Let us arrange the final leg
A pre-booked transfer is recommended. Dar Louisa is tucked inside the old town, where the narrow lanes are part of the charm—and famously difficult to navigate.

Frequently asked
The useful details, before you ask.
Is Dar Louisa always booked as a whole house?
Yes. Whether you are staying on your own, as a couple or a group of eight, the entire riad and its staff are exclusively yours.
What is included in the price?
Breakfast, lunch, dinner and soft drinks are included, together with daily housekeeping and personal laundry. Alcohol, transfers, excursions, guides and treatments are additional.
Can you accommodate dietary requirements?
Yes. Fatima can adapt meals for allergies, intolerances and preferences when given details in advance.
Which airport should we use?
Agadir is the nearest airport, roughly an hour from the house. Marrakech has more connections and is around three hours away by car.
Can you arrange airport transfers?
Yes. Pre-booking is strongly recommended because Dar Louisa is hidden within the old town’s narrow lanes. The team can arrange a driver and guide you through the final part of the journey.
Do we need to hire a car?
A car is not needed for the house or central Taroudant. If you would like one for exploring farther afield, arranging a hire car locally is usually the easiest and preferable option, and the Dar Louisa team can organise this for you. They can also meet you at the edge of town and guide you to the house. Alternatively, drivers and guides can be arranged for day trips.
Is the house comfortable year-round?
Dar Louisa is comfortable throughout most of the year. Bedrooms have air conditioning and heating, while the two salons have open fires for cooler autumn and winter evenings. July and August are exceptionally hot, however, so guests who prefer milder weather may wish to avoid those months.
How are hammam treatments and excursions booked?
Mohamed can arrange them during or ahead of your stay. They are charged separately, and prices depend on the activity and group size.
