A home with a soul

Slow mornings, long lunches and hidden gardens.

Behind a discreet door in Taroudant's old town is a world of leafy courtyards, private terraces, open fires and generous Moroccan cooking.

Traditionally built from rammed earth and filled with contemporary art and local objects, Dar Louisa feels personal, peaceful and wonderfully removed from everyday life.

The Dar Louisa experience

The luxury is having nothing to organise.

Mohamed and Fatima make every stay feel effortless, personal and unmistakably Moroccan.

01

A house entirely yours

No shared spaces and no other guests—just four bedrooms, two salons, private terraces and the courtyard pool.

02

Every meal, beautifully made

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are prepared daily by Fatima, using seasonal ingredients and the flavours of Morocco.

03

Care without formality

Rooms are kept, laundry is taken care of and Mohamed is close by with thoughtful local advice whenever you need it.

04

Days shaped around you

Add a hammam massage, souk tour, mountain picnic or beach trip—or simply settle beside the pool with nowhere to be.

At Fatima's table

Morocco, served generously.

Every meal is part of your stay: slow-cooked tagines, crisp salads, couscous, fresh bread and recipes shaped by the season.

Tell us what you love and what you need to avoid. Meals are relaxed, flexible and cooked for your table alone.

Beyond the courtyard

Taroudant, the Grandmother of Marrakesh.

Smaller, calmer and beautifully preserved, Taroudant is a walled city of ochre ramparts, lively souks and traditional craft. The Atlas Mountains begin just beyond it; the Atlantic coast is around an hour away.
